The protection of your personal data is of great importance to Vattenfall. Therefore, we store and process personal data with great care in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

2. Purpose, data categories and legal bases of processing
a. Participation in the program
For voluntary participation in the program, we process your data (surname, first name, email address, telephone number, study course) on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Storage period: If you have only given us the data for participation in the program, we will delete it after the event.
b. Addressing for Recruitment Purposes
If you give us further consent and provide your e-mail address, we would like to inform you about current vacancies at Vattenfall Energy Trading GmbH. The data processing is also based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
Storage period: We store the data only for the stated purpose of addressing and delete it if you revoke your consent via datenschutz@vattenfall.de
3. To which recipients/categories of recipients will your data be transmitted?
Your data will be only processed within the company, we will only share your personal data with those departments at Vattenfall Energy Trading GmbH and individuals who need it to fulfil the stated purposes.
In the context of the above mentioned processing, no data processing takes place outside the EU or the EEA.
4. Is automated decision-making based on your personal data?
No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place in order to establish and carry out the processing processes described.
5. What rights do you have in relation to your data?
As a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR, you have the right to information pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, the right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, the right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, the right to notification pursuant to Art. 19 GDPR and the right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR.

Objection according to Art. 21 GDPR
Insofar as the processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for the purpose of safeguarding legitimate interests, you have the right to object to the processing of this data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR. We will then no longer process this personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing. These must outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing must serve to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
Withdrawal of consent
If the data processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time for the future. Please note that processing prior to revocation is not affected. To do so, please contact the data controller to whom you have given consent. If you do not have a contact person, you can also use the contact details of the person responsible or our data protection officer at any time.
Right to lodge a complaint
In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.
